Real World Situation: At the faculty meeting, they are discussing the development of a new course. The course was approved six years ago and has never been developed. Faculty begin to share their feelings on the situation. They begin to point fiingers at others as to why the course was not developed. The program director steps in and reminds everyone that the past is the past and the real issue is should they move to develop the course now. The faculty begin to talk about the real issue and it is agreed that the course will begin to be developed hopefully for the next term.
